available! On Site Training!
I
am really excited to announce... that
after FIVE YEARS, I am finally free
from the confines of a regular class
schedule... and I can now come to
you and your studio!
These
workshops are specifically designed
for those fitness/dance/movement professionals
that wish to teach the original PoleCat
Power™ format of classes that
were created and taught here in Los
Angeles for the past FIVE years by
Shawn Frances Lee.
These
instructor training workshops are
broken down into two categories,“Licensed”
and “Fundamentals”.
The
“Licensed”
Exotic Aerial Dance Instructor training
will be taught in an option of two
different five or six-day workshops.
They are approximately six to eight
hours per day, and may include teacher-assisting
workshops. Acceptance into these programs
will be very select, with certain
mandatory requirements.
The
“Fundamentals”
Exotic Aerial Dance Instructor training
is taught in a two-day weekend format.
It consists of two eight-hour workshops.
You may take them individually, but
you must take BOTH workshops to be
listed on the website.
The
cost of each of the workshops includes
both the training fee and the one-time
licensing fees for using the PoleCat
Power Method™ material. Rates
are for individual instructors only,
for corporate training please inquire.
There will be no future licensing
fees per level. Travel and accommodations
are not included.
The
training studio is a private studio,
address given out upon enrollment.
Please
make sure you pre-register
BEFORE paying online to ensure there
is space available in the workshop.
You can pre-register but without a
full pre-payment but you may be bumped
as priority is given to those who
have pre-registered AND pre-paid.
A
PoleCat Power Instructor is...

- Inspiring.
Interested. Intuitive.
- Aware.
Erotic. Empowered.
She
isn't:

POLECAT POWER
METHOD™ “FUNDAMENTALS”
INSTRUCTOR:
These workshops are specifically
designed for those fitness/dance/movement
professionals that wish to enhance
their own Pole Dance classes, or to
understand the Fundamentals of teaching
Pole Dancing. Shawn Frances Lee developed
these workshops in Los Angeles over
the past 5 years, specifically intended
for the increasing popularity of pole
dance classes in the fitness world.
These workshops will be broken down
into two categories, Injury
Prevention and Physical Training for
Pole Dancing, and Pole
Dancing Basics and Choreography.
Both workshops below are one-day workshops,
approximately 8 hours each. Both workshops
qualify for AFAA
continuing education
units. There is a special
rate for AFAA certified fitness instructors.
Please inquire if you qualify.
PLEASE
NOTE: The one (1) day workshops
WILL NOT include any of my personal
pole dance choreography or sequencing.
It will include PCP Method safety,
spotting, and teaching techniques
for individual basic pole tricks in
early levels. None of my own creative
material or choreography will be taught,
although creating your own choreography
is part of the training. Also, upon
taking this workshop, you will not
be listed as a "licensed"
instructor from this workshop. You
will receive a certificate of completion,
a listing as a “Fundamentals”
instructor, and written material from
the course. To learn and use my choreography
and teaching progressions, you must
become a licensed instructor.
Rates
listed are for individual instructors
only. Also available; group rates
for studios, corporate rates, and
custom class choreography. Please
Email for more information.
NOTE:
I will only be teaching one
or two more Fundamentals Workshops.
After December, (maybe sooner...)
I will only be teaching level II and
beyond, because there will then be
enough Master Instructors to take
over teaching these workshops.
